2006 Mercury OptiMax 225 HP V6 two-stroke outboard motor with 841 operating hours, featuring a 25-inch XL shaft and Mercury's Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) technology. This high-performance V6 outboard combines strong acceleration and power with the fuel efficiency of the OptiMax direct-injection system.

The motor has recorded compression readings ranging from 115–130 PSI across all six cylinders, with most cylinders measuring 125–130 PSI.

The motor appears complete as pictured, including the cowling, powerhead, midsection, power trim and tilt assembly, and lower unit. Propeller is not included.

Used Mercury OptiMax 225 HP outboard with 841 operating hours. Compression readings recorded on the engine are 130, 125, 130, 130, 115, and 125 PSI across the six cylinders.

The motor shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with age and previous marine use, including light scratches, scuffs, spotting, and other cosmetic imperfections. The black cowling retains a glossy finish with visible signs of use.

The cowling has been removed in select photos to show the internal engine components. The powerhead, midsection, and lower unit are pictured.
