MerCruiser Outboard Lower Unit Gearcase with Hydrofoil Stabilizer 

Used marine outboard motor lower unit (gearcase) equipped with a hydrofoil stabilizer. This single-propeller lower unit includes the vertical driveshaft, propeller shaft, gear housing, anti-ventilation plate, skeg, and attached hydrofoil stabilizer.

The hydrofoil stabilizer is designed to assist with boat planing and stability when installed on a compatible outboard motor.

The unit is being sold as pictured. Propeller is not included.

Condition

Used condition with visible wear from previous marine use. The housing shows scratches, scuffs, paint peeling, oxidation, and areas of exposed metal, particularly around the skeg and hydrofoil stabilizer.

The vertical driveshaft and propeller shaft are present. Some surface discoloration and oxidation are visible on exposed metal components.

The housing appears generally intact in the photographs. Internal gears, bearings, seals, and overall mechanical operation have not been verified.

Inspection and routine servicing are recommended before installation and operation.
