Used marine engine condition with visible wear from previous operation.
The cylinder head shows carbon buildup, gasket residue, surface rust, oxidation, staining, remaining engine paint, and corrosion around portions of the ports, coolant passages, and mating surfaces. Heavier deposits and oxidation are visible in several areas.
No obvious external cracks or major physical damage are visible in the photos. However, this cylinder head has not been pressure tested, magnafluxed, resurfaced, or otherwise internally inspected.
Professional cleaning, inspection, pressure testing, and machining as necessary are recommended before installation.
