Genuine 1999 McClain Trailers tandem axle galvanized bunk boat trailer originally built for a Chaparral 252 Sunesta. This freshwater-used trailer is rated for a 7,000 lb GVWR with a 6,120 lb maximum load capacity and is well suited for many 24-26 foot fiberglass boats.
Built with a hot-dip galvanized steel frame for superior corrosion resistance, this trailer features tandem leaf-spring axles, carpeted bunk supports, a heavy-duty hand winch, adjustable bow stop, swivel tongue jack, surge brake actuator/coupler, and full trailer lighting. The galvanized frame remains in solid overall condition with typical surface rust on the suspension components consistent with age and normal use.
Originally designed for a Chaparral 252 Sunesta, but it may also fit many other 24-26 foot bowriders, deck boats, cuddy cabins, and similar V-hull fiberglass boats after verifying hull dimensions, bunk spacing, transom clearance, and overall weight.
This trailer has been freshwater used and shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with its age. As with any used trailer, bearings, brakes, tires, and lighting should be inspected prior to extended highway use.
