OEM MerCruiser 4.5L MPI V6 70 Amp Marine Alternator

OEM Mercury MerCruiser 12-volt marine alternator, Part Number 8600612 (cross-references to 8M0095472), removed from a MerCruiser 4.5L MPI V6 engine. This genuine OEM alternator is a 70-amp, internally regulated, ignition-protected marine unit equipped with the factory 6-groove serpentine pulley. It is commonly used on MerCruiser 4.5L MPI and select 6.2L MPI sterndrive and inboard engine applications.

The alternator is in good used condition with normal cosmetic wear consistent with previous freshwater marine use. The pulley rotates smoothly, the mounting ears are intact, and the housing shows typical light surface wear from installation and operation. Internal components have not been bench tested.
