Genuine OEM Mercury MerCruiser Cool Fuel copper fuel cooler assembly removed from a MerCruiser 5.0L MPI V8 engine. This complete assembly includes the factory copper fuel cooler tube, fuel pressure regulator, hose fittings, and insulated cooling hose exactly as shown.
The Cool Fuel assembly helps reduce fuel temperature to minimize vapor lock while maintaining consistent fuel pressure and fuel delivery on MPI-equipped MerCruiser engines. Compatible with many MerCruiser 5.0L MPI and 5.7L MPI V8 applications utilizing this style fuel cooler system.
The assembly shows normal cosmetic wear from marine service, including oxidation and discoloration on the copper tube, surface corrosion on the brass fittings, and wear to the insulation sleeve. The pressure regulator and fittings are included as pictured but have not been tested since removal. Sold exactly as shown. This is a used OEM fuel cooler assembly removed from a freshwater engine. It shows normal cosmetic wear including oxidation and discoloration on the copper tube, light corrosion on the fittings, scratches, and wear to the insulation sleeve consistent with previous marine service. The pressure regulator and fittings have not been tested after removal and are included as-is.
