Genuine OEM Mercury MerCruiser Idle Air Control (IAC) valve assembly complete with the factory mounting bracket, removed from a MerCruiser 5.0L MPI V8 engine. This assembly includes the electronic IAC valve, aluminum housing, coolant/heater hose fittings, and original steel mounting bracket exactly as shown.
The Idle Air Control (IAC) valve regulates idle speed by controlling airflow around the throttle body, helping provide smooth cold starts and stable engine idle. Compatible with many MerCruiser 5.0L MPI and 5.7L MPI EFI V8 engines utilizing this style IAC assembly.
The electrical connector and hose fittings appear intact. The assembly shows normal cosmetic wear from marine use including light oxidation on the aluminum housing, minor surface rust on portions of the bracket, scratches, and paint wear. The unit has not been bench tested since removal and is being sold as a used OEM component. Sold exactly as pictured.
